General Meeting
The final P & F General Meeting for the year will be held on Monday 21 October, in the
Resource Centre. All parents are invited to attend, either in person or online.
If you wish to include a topic in the meeting agenda that may require a researched response, please forward it to either the P & F Secretary (secretary@hillspf.com) or Mr Parks (darren.parks@hills.qld.edu.au) prior to the meeting.
General matters and open discussions can be raised during the General Business section.
School Production
The P & F is proud to support this year’s Hills College Stellar Art Productions presentation of “Will You Be My Nemesis?” — a witty and fast-paced parody written by Kathryn Funkhouser and produced by special arrangement with Stage Partners.
Calling all heroes, villains, and slightly awkward sidekicks! This laugh-out-loud performance follows a group of superheroes and nemeses as they navigate the challenges of finding their one true arch-enemy. It promises to be an entertaining and memorable event showcasing the creativity, confidence, and talent of our Hills students.

Year 12 Snack Trolley
As our Year 12 cohort prepares to tackle their final exams, the P & F is delighted to once again roll out the Snack Trolley of Support — a mobile boost of encouragement packed with treats and good wishes.
It’s our small way of helping students stay fueled, focused, and motivated as they revise and complete their final assessments. The P & F wishes every Year 12 student the very best as they take this final step in their Hills journey and prepare to embark on exciting new adventures beyond the College gates.
Thursday 31 October
This date marks several significant occasions within the Hills College community — World Teachers’ Day, Day for Daniel, Bandana Day, and Halloween.
The Parents and Friends Association would like to take this opportunity to express sincere appreciation to all Hills College teachers for their dedication, professionalism, and the invaluable contribution they make to the growth and success of our students.
Families are also encouraged to support the 2026 Year 12 cohort as they host the Halloween Evening Fundraiser. This exciting event promises to be an enjoyable and memorable evening for the whole school community, featuring:
- Spooky decorations transforming the College into a Halloween wonderland
- Lolly giveaways and treat stations for children
- Fun activities and games suitable for all ages
- Costume fun and family-friendly entertainment throughout the evening
The Halloween Evening provides a wonderful opportunity for children to experience the excitement of Halloween in a safe, familiar, and community-focused environment, while supporting the fundraising efforts of our future senior students.
