Accommodation
Student wellbeing and welfare is at the centre of all we do at Hills College. For our international, interstate and local students, we provide our own quality homestay and boarding programs.
HOMESTAY
Local families provide a vital link in developing our students as global citizens. With this in mind, the Hills College Homestay program strives to provide engaging, caring, and meaningful interactions and experiences for our homestay students and families. Homestay families are an important part of our students’ lives, and we seek to select families which show a keen and real interest in developing a global perspective in their own home.
Our homestay program endeavours to provide a safe and supportive service environment for children and young people through:
- Screening and Blue cards for +18 homestay family members
- Regular house visits
- Open-door policies for addressing student or homestay concerns
- Documented procedures for managing risk.

BOARDING
Hills College has boarding facilities for both male and female students. They are located within the campus and within a short walking distance to all College facilities. Designed as motel style accommodation, each unit contains two 4-person rooms, with a shared entrance/kitchenette space and a large wet area containing private cubicles (bath/shower), toilets, and sink/vanities.
The College cafeteria serves buffet style meals with an emphasis on multi-cultural cuisine. A hot selection is served for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a cold selection of salads and seasonal fruits. Supper is provided every night.
Dormitory supervisors are on-site 24 hours per day, and there are supervised study sessions three to four times per week.
Students have regular shopping excursions, and the staff endeavour to provide a range of other excursions for students on weekends. All boarders are permitted access to the College sporting facilities.
