QIEU ART WINNERS

The winners of the 2021 Independent Education Union of Australia - Queensland and Northern Territory Branch (IEU-QNT) Excellence in Art Design Competition have been decided. The theme was 'Our World', and there was a total of 1,142 entries across 87 schools.
Hills College did exceptionally well, with the following results;
Winner in the Open (Staff) category: Caroline Barnard with her mixed media painting titled 'Disposable'
Winner in the Year 9-10 category: Caitlin McNee for her clay sculpture titled 'Bleached'.
Highly Commended in the Year 9-10 category: Amber Davidson for her photograph titled 'Twin Peaks Falls, Springbrook'
Highly Commended in the Year 11-12 category: Loretta MacNellie for her skate deck titled 'Society Says'.
