This course is designed for students who have studied in their home country but wish to enter mainstream Australian high school classes. There are four levels in this program and each takes 10 weeks to complete. On arrival students complete a Placement Test before being placed in the appropriate level for their ability. At the end of each 10 weeks students sit for a school-based test similar to the International Second Language Proficiency Rating test to gauge their readiness to move to the next level. On achieving the required proficiency to enter the particular grade level in Hills International College (our high school) students are then transferred to study in the mainstream school.
