Primary Mandarin Bilingual Program Coordinator

Hills is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to coordinate our developing Mandarin Bilingual Program, based in Jimboomba 45 minutes south of Brisbane.  

 

This role reports to the Head of Primary and will be responsible for developing the Bilingual Program curriculum and resources.

 

You will have:

  • an understanding of the IB philosophy
  • worked in a bilingual (Mandarin) environment with exposure to the Chinese culture within a learning environment
  • previous experience in monitoring student learning in conjunction with DoTL.

 

In addition, you will:

  • be passionate about improving literacy outcomes with Bilingual Learning
  • support and develop further pedagogical approaches within the Bilingual teaching environment
  • demonstrate your ability of working within a team focused on student needs.

Hills Education Foundation is constantly appointing teaching staff for its overseas centres.  The recruitment and assessment board of Hills Education Foundation assess each application based on provided selection criteria.  Successful applicants and candidates are contacted by email for an interview (telephone or Skype interview if necessary).  Applicant’s referees will be contacted after the interview.
